In a time of economic uncertainty, businesses need to know where their money is being spent in order to lower costs. The Executive Presentation Module™ is the latest addition to Midrange Software’s extensive ITPayS Payroll Management System™.

The new solution provides executive management with a complete point-in-time analysis of benefit costs, employee salaries, overtime compensation, 401(k) matching, employee insurance or other payroll deductions. The application uses customized matrices to calculate complex calculations in the background, so executives only see the information they need. Reports are generated in seconds by simply specifying a time frame and selecting the data to be analyzed through the use of drop-down menus. As a result, executives are presented with exact dollar figures. The option to conduct “what-if” scenarios help to make cost-effective budget strategies based on current and accurate information.

Strategic initiatives are easily derived from the Executive Presentation Module™. For example, an analysis of overtime pay from a single-shift workforce may indicate that it would be more prudent to start a second shift and pay less overtime compensation. Similarly, an analysis of a mutual fund program may indicate that low employee contributions are not meeting minimum requirements and that offering a regular savings plan would reduce company costs. The application presents clear facts and figures in an easily read report to help make critical decisions.
